What’s the Lawsuit About?
The lawsuit claimed that Regal Cinemas violated New York’s Arts and Cultural Affairs Law by failing to clearly disclose booking fees before ticket selection. Regal allegedly misrepresented ticket prices, resulting in customers paying more than advertised. Regal denies any wrongdoing but agreed to settle.
