Torrid shoppers in California, Oregon, and Washington may be eligible to receive $15 in cash or store credit as part of a $13.86 million class action settlement.
The lawsuit alleges that Torrid.com advertised misleading sale prices, leading customers to believe they were getting discounts that didn’t actually exist.
Who Qualifies for a Payment or Voucher?
To qualify, you must meet all of the following:
- Purchased one or more items from Torrid.com
- Lived in California, Oregon, or Washington at the time of purchase (based on billing address)
- Made the purchase between January 1, 2020, and February 18, 2025

- Paid via electronic transfer or paper check
- $15 Torrid Voucher(No claim required)
- Usable online or in-store
- Never expires, transferable, and can be combined with other discounts
- Applied before tax and shipping
How to File a Claim
To receive a $15 cash payment, you must file a claim by August 26, 2025.
Two options to file:
- Online – File at the settlement website using your Class Member ID

When Will Payments Be Made?
Payments and vouchers will be issued approximately 60 days after the court grants final approval and any appeals are resolved.

The lawsuit claimed Torrid misled customers by advertising discounts that weren’t genuine, allegedly violating consumer protection laws in California, Oregon, and Washington.
Torrid denied any wrongdoing but agreed to settle to avoid the cost and uncertainty of continued litigation.
