How Do I Qualify for a Payout?

You may be eligible for a payout if you were insured under either a Progressive Marathon or Progressive Michigan automobile insurance policy and received a total loss claim payment in Michigan during the following periods:

  • Progressive Marathon: July 18, 2013, through July 22, 2024
  • Progressive Michigan: July 18, 2016, through July 22, 2024

How Much Can I Get Paid?

The payout amount will depend on the attorney fees awarded, and the payout range is between 45% and 65% of the unpaid fees:

  • 45%: If court-approved attorney fees exceed $12,500,000 but are no more than $15,000,000, you will receive 45% of any unpaid sales tax, title fees, and/or registration fees.
  • 55%: If attorney fees are between $10,000,000 and $12,500,000, you will receive 55% of these fees.
  • 65%: If attorney fees are $10,000,000 or less, you will receive 65% of these fees.

How Do I File a Claim?

To file a claim, you must complete and submit a claim form by December 6, 2024. You can submit the form online using your unique ID number or mail a completed, signed claim form to the Ubillus Perry Progressive Insurance class action administrator.

No proof is required to file a claim in this settlement. However, you may be asked to certify that the information you provide is accurate, and that Progressive Insurance has the right to audit your form and details.
