Defendant: Evenflo Co., Inc.
If you purchased an Evenflo “Big Kid” booster seat in the U.S., District of Columbia, or U.S. territories (including Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands) between January 1, 2008, and December 31, 2022, you may be entitled to a cash payment and a $25 credit per seat (up to two seats) under a new $3.5 million class action settlement.
What Is the Lawsuit About?
The lawsuit claims that Evenflo misrepresented its “Big Kid” booster seats as “side impact tested” and suitable for children weighing as little as 30 pounds. Plaintiffs argue these marketing claims were deceptive and unsafe. Evenflo denies wrongdoing but agreed to the settlement to avoid ongoing litigation.
