JELD-WEN, Inc. has agreed to an $840,000 class action settlement to resolve claims that it failed to include required wage or salary ranges in job postings, in violation of Washington state law.
The lawsuit alleges that job postings in Washington did not comply with transparency laws requiring employers to disclose pay ranges for open positions. JELD-WEN denies any wrongdoing but agreed to settle to avoid further litigation.
Who Qualifies?
You may be eligible if:
- You applied for a job with JELD-WEN, Inc. in Washington state
- The application was submitted between January 1, 2023, and March 6, 2025
- The job posting did not include a wage scale or salary range
How Much Will I Receive?
Eligible class members who file a valid claim will receive an estimated $1,302.85.
Note: The final payout will depend on how many valid claims are submitted. Payouts could be higher or lower, up to a maximum of $5,000 per claimant.

Payment Method
Payments will be issued via paper check and mailed to the address provided on your claim form.
How the $840,000 Settlement Will Be Used
- Settlement administration costs: Up to $25,000
- Attorneys’ fees and expenses: $247,800
- Service award to lead plaintiff: $20,000
- Payments to eligible class members: Remainder of the fund

When Will I Get Paid?
