Consumers who made purchases at Kipling outlet stores in California may be eligible for a $10 voucher as part of a $600,000 class action settlement.
Kipling Apparel Corp. has agreed to resolve claims that it advertised misleading discounts at its California outlet locations. The lawsuit alleges Kipling used deceptive reference pricing to make discounts appear more significant than they were.
Who Is Eligible?
To qualify, class members must meet the following criteria:
- Purchased one or more items from a Kipling outlet store in California between December 8, 2019, and May 29, 2025
- Bought the item(s) at a discount based on an advertised reference price
- Have not received a refund or credit for those purchases
There are two groups of eligible consumers:
- Direct Benefit Class Members: Received a notice about the settlement directly from Kipling via email
- Other Class Members: Learned about the settlement through mail, website, or public notice
Settlement Benefits
- Voucher Value: Up to $10 toward a purchase at any Kipling outlet store in California
- Restrictions: The voucher is non-transferable, cannot be combined with other discounts or vouchers, and expires one year after issuance
- No Cash Value: If used for a purchase under $10, no balance will be carried over
Distribution:
- Direct Benefit Class Members will automatically receive the voucher if the settlement is approved
- Other Class Members must submit a claim form to receive the voucher
How to Submit a Claim

When Will Vouchers Be Distributed?
Vouchers will be issued approximately 60 days after final court approval and resolution of any appeals.
