Wilson & Co. Inc., Engineers & Architects has agreed to a class action settlement totaling $20,000 in response to a lawsuit over a 2024 data breach. Individuals whose personal information may have been compromised could be eligible for compensation of up to $10,000 or other settlement benefits.
The lawsuit alleges that Wilson & Co. failed to adequately protect sensitive data during a breach that occurred between April 12 and April 16, 2024, exposing names, Social Security numbers, banking details, visa/citizenship documentation, and health insurance enrollment information.
