Who Is Eligible?
You may be eligible to file a claim if:
- You were employed by Returns ‘R’ Us Inc. dba Pharma Logistics Ltd. in Illinois
- You used a finger-scan or other biometric timekeeping device
- Your employment occurred between December 24, 2018, and June 5, 2025
- You did not sign a BIPA-compliant consent or waiver
What Is the Lawsuit About?
The lawsuit claims the company violated the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) by collecting employees’ biometric data—such as fingerprints—without providing the required written notice or obtaining informed written consent. Returns ‘R’ Us denies the allegations but agreed to settle to avoid further litigation.
How Much Could You Receive?
The payment amount will depend on how many valid claims are submitted:
- 20 or fewer claims: $15,000 divided equally
- 21 to 29 claims: Each claimant receives $735.30
- 30 or more claims: The fund increases to $75,000 and, after deductions, the remaining amount is divided equally among all claimants
Deductions include:
- Up to $10,000 in administrative costs
- $33,320 in attorneys’ fees
- $5,000 each for the two class representatives

- By Mail: Print and complete the claim form found on Page 35 of the settlement agreement and mail it to the administrator
