Consumers who paid an order processing fee when buying tickets online through the Kings Theatre, Hudson Theatre, or Lyric Theatre websites may be eligible to receive a cash payment as part of a class action settlement.
Settlement Details
ATG Tickets US LLC has agreed to pay up to $997,380 to resolve a class action lawsuit. The lawsuit alleged that ATG failed to properly disclose order processing fees for online ticket purchases, potentially violating New York Arts and Cultural Affairs Law Section 25.07(4).
Who Can File a Claim
To qualify, you must have paid an order processing fee when purchasing tickets online through one of the following websites during the listed dates:
- Kings Theatre website (www.kingstheatre.com):
Seated tickets purchased between March 27, 2023 and March 12, 2024
General admission pit tickets purchased between March 27, 2023 and March 27, 2024 - Hudson Theatre website (www.thehudsonbroadway.com):
Purchases made between August 29, 2022 and March 12, 2024 - Lyric Theatre website (www.lyricbroadway.com):
Purchases made between August 29, 2022 and March 12, 2024
If you made qualifying purchases on more than one website, you may file a claim for each and receive separate payments.
Payment Amounts
Eligible individuals can receive a one-time payment for each theatre where a qualifying purchase was made:
- Kings Theatre: $5
- Hudson Theatre: $3
- Lyric Theatre: $3
If you qualify for all three, the total payment would be $11.50. If the number of valid claims exceeds the settlement fund, individual payments may be reduced proportionally.
How to File a Claim
You can submit a claim online or by mailing a completed PDF claim form to the settlement administrator. The deadline to file a claim is November 24, 2025.

Settlement Fund Allocation
The $997,380 settlement will be used for the following:
- Settlement administration costs
- Attorneys’ fees and legal costs (up to $332,460)
- Service award to the class representative ($5,000)
- Payments to eligible class members (remaining funds)
Key Deadlines
- Opt-out deadline: September 26, 2025
- Final approval hearing: October 23, 2025
- Claim filing deadline: November 24, 2025
When Will Payments Be Sent
Payments to approved claimants will be sent approximately 70 days after the final approval hearing and resolution of any appeals.
Why the Settlement Was Reached
The lawsuit claimed that ATG Tickets US LLC failed to disclose order processing fees in a timely manner for online ticket sales. While ATG denies any wrongdoing, both sides agreed to settle to avoid the costs and uncertainty of continued litigation and to ensure timely compensation to consumers.
