What is the Panda Express Class Action Lawsuit About?
A class action settlement of nearly $1,500,000 has been reached with Panda Restaurant Group, Inc., the parent company of Panda Express. The lawsuit alleged that delivery and service fees on orders made through their website and app were misleading to customers. Panda Express is well-known for its diverse menu, featuring popular dishes like Orange Chicken™, Beijing Beef™, Honey Walnut Shrimp™, and Shanghai Angus Steak™. While Panda Express has agreed to settle the lawsuit, they deny any wrongdoing, and the court has not made any determinations regarding the validity of the claims.
How Do I Qualify?
To qualify for a payment from the Panda Express class action, you must have placed a food delivery order using the Panda mobile app or website between July 17, 2020, and February 16, 2022. If you were charged a “Service Fee” for your order, you may be entitled to a payment or voucher.
What Can I Get in the Panda Express Class Action Settlement?
As a qualifying member of the Panda Express Settlement Class, you can submit a valid claim to receive one of the following benefits:
- An electronic cash payment of $10.00
- Up to two vouchers for medium entrees redeemable via the Panda Express app or website
Please note that in class action settlements like this one, the final payout may vary from the initially estimated amount. If the total number of valid claims exceeds expectations, the $10.00 payout may be adjusted.
