A $1,750,000 class action settlement has been reached with Johnson & Johnson, providing vouchers to consumers without the need for proof of purchase. The lawsuit claimed that certain Johnson & Johnson sunscreen products may have contained carcinogens.
How Do I Qualify?
If you purchased Neutrogena or Aveeno sunscreen products in the United States between May 26, 2015, and April 8, 2022, you may be eligible for reimbursement or coupons through this settlement. The included products are:
- Neutrogena® Ultra Sheer® Dry-Touch Water Resistant Sunscreen Lotion
- Neutrogena® Sheer Zinc™ Dry-Touch Face Sunscreen Lotion
- Aveeno® Baby Continuous Protection® Sensitive Skin Sunscreen Lotion
How Much Can I Get?
Each household can claim up to two vouchers, valued at $10.58 each, for a total maximum of $21.16 per household.
A final approval hearing will be held on August 12, 2022, at 2:00 PM Eastern Time.
