Cavu eCommerce (AMER) LLC has agreed to a $425,000 settlement to resolve a class action lawsuit concerning mandatory service charges applied to online parking reservations. California residents who booked airport parking through airportparkingreservations.com or airportparking.com between July 1, 2024, and March 10, 2025, and paid a mandatory service charge may be eligible to receive a cash payment.
Who Is Eligible?
You may qualify if:
- You were a California resident during the relevant time period
- You booked a reservation through airportparkingreservations.com or airportparking.com
- You paid a mandatory service charge during checkout
- Your booking occurred between July 1, 2024, and March 10, 2025
How Much Can You Receive?
Eligible claimants will receive a pro rata cash payment based on:
- The total amount of service charges you paid
- The total number of valid claims submitted
- The total amount of service charges paid by all claimants
Claimants who paid higher service fees will receive a larger share of the settlement fund.
How to File a Claim
To receive a payment, you must submit a claim by January 15, 2026. You can do this in one of two ways:

After filing online, you will receive a confirmation code by email. Keep this code for your records or for questions about your claim.

You’ll need to provide the Unique ID from your settlement notice. Online filers must also include the PIN from the same notice.

Payment Options
Claimants can choose to receive payment through:
- Venmo
- PayPal
- Zelle

Breakdown of $425,000 Settlement Fund
- Attorneys’ fees and expenses: Up to $148,750
- Service award to class representative: Up to $5,000
- Administrative costs: To be determined
- Payments to class members: Remaining balance after above deductions

When Will Payments Be Issued?
Payments will be sent after February 12, 2026, assuming the court grants final approval and there are no appeals.
Why Is There a Settlement?
The lawsuit alleged that Cavu eCommerce failed to clearly disclose a mandatory service fee during the online checkout process, allegedly violating California’s Honest Pricing Law.
Cavu has denied any wrongdoing but agreed to settle to avoid the costs and uncertainty of further litigation.
