Evergreen Healthcare $1.98 Million Wage Disclosure Settlement
Defendants: WCC Evergreen Healthcare LLC, WCC Operator LLC d/b/a Washington Care Center, Evergreen Healthcare Group LLC

Individuals who applied for a job at Washington Care Center in Washington state may be eligible for a cash payment if the job posting did not include a wage scale or salary range, as required by state law.

The defendants have agreed to pay $1,982,000 to resolve claims that they failed to provide the required pay transparency in job advertisements, in potential violation of Washington’s pay disclosure regulations.


Who Is Eligible?

You may qualify for a payment if:

  • You applied for a job with WCC Operator LLC (d/b/a Washington Care Center) in Washington state
  • Your application was submitted between January 1, 2023, and April 18, 2025
  • The job posting you responded to did not include a wage scale or salary range

What Can You Receive?

Eligible class members who submit a valid and timely claim will receive a pro rata share of the net settlement fund. This means all approved claimants will receive equal payments, the exact amount depending on the number of valid claims.

Payments will be issued by paper check mailed to the address provided on the claim form.


How to File a Claim

The claim deadline is August 2, 2025. You can file in one of two ways:

Settlement Fund Breakdown

The $1.98 million fund will be allocated as follows:

  • Up to $25,000 for administrative costs
  • $584,690 in attorneys’ fees
  • $5,000 for litigation expenses
  • $25,000 service award to the class representative
  • Remainder to be divided among eligible claimants

Important Dates

  • Opt-out or objection deadline: August 2, 2025
  • Claim filing deadline: August 2, 2025
  • Final approval hearing: December 5, 2025

When Will Payments Be Issued?

Checks will be mailed approximately 104 days after final approval of the settlement, provided no appeals are pending.


Why Was There a Settlement?

The lawsuit alleged that Evergreen Healthcare entities failed to include legally required pay information in job postings, in violation of Washington law. While the defendants deny all wrongdoing and liability, they agreed to settle to avoid the risks and costs of prolonged litigation.
