Museum of Illusions New York $580,721 Ticket Fee Settlement

Visitors who purchased tickets through the Museum of Illusions New York website and paid a processing fee between August 29, 2022, and April 30, 2024, may be eligible to receive a cash payment as part of a class action settlement.

The lawsuit alleged that Beyond Illusion LLC (doing business as Museum of Illusions New York) and RP Illusions Corp. failed to adequately disclose online ticket processing fees, in violation of New York Arts and Cultural Affairs Law § 25.07(4). The companies have agreed to pay $580,721 to resolve the claims.
