Overview
Consumers who purchased Differin Daily Deep Cleanser (5% benzoyl peroxide), Differin Acne Spot Treatment (10% benzoyl peroxide), or Differin Maximum Strength Acne Foaming Cleanser (10% benzoyl peroxide) in the United States, the District of Columbia, or any U.S. territory between Jan. 1, 2020, and Feb. 19, 2026, may qualify for compensation.
Galderma Laboratories LP agreed to pay $990,000 to settle claims that it misled consumers about potential benzene contamination in certain Differin acne treatment products.
Who Is Eligible?
You may qualify if:
- You are an individual (not a business or entity).
- You purchased one or more eligible products for personal, family, or household use (not for resale).
- You bought the product(s) between Jan. 1, 2020, and Feb. 19, 2026, in the United States, the District of Columbia, or any U.S. territory (including Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands).
Only one claim may be submitted per household. Multiple claims from the same household may be rejected.

How Much Can You Receive?
- With proof of purchase: $9 per product, with no limit as long as documentation is provided.
- Without proof of purchase: Up to $9 per product for a maximum of three products ($27 total), based on your statement.
If total claims exceed the available settlement funds, payments may be reduced proportionally.
