Why This Settlement Exists
The lawsuit alleged that Nutramax misrepresented the benefits and effectiveness of certain Cosequin dog supplements. The companies deny wrongdoing but agreed to settle to avoid the cost and uncertainty of further litigation.
As part of the settlement, Nutramax also agreed to remove certain claims from future product packaging, including statements related to mobility, cartilage, and joint health support.
