Who Is Eligible to File a Claim?
To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:
- You purchased one or more eligible PetSafe e-collar products in California.
- Your purchase was made between October 1, 2018, and October 31, 2022.

You can submit a claim for up to three eligible products without providing a receipt. If you are claiming more than three products, you must submit proof of purchase for each additional item.
How Much Can You Receive?
The settlement offers fixed cash payments based on product category:
- $30 for each Bark Collar product
- $35 for each Barrier product
- $90 for each In-Ground Fence product
- $140 for each Wireless Fence product
Payments may be reduced if the total claims exceed the $1.9 million settlement fund.

Proof of Purchase Requirements
- No proof is needed if you are claiming three or fewer products.
- If claiming more than three products, you must submit receipts or other documentation for each additional product.
Payout Methods
Class members may choose one of the following options for payment:
- Zelle
- Venmo
- ACH direct deposit
- Virtual prepaid Mastercard
- Paper check
If you choose Zelle or Venmo and do not claim your payment within the specified period (14 days for Zelle, 30 days for Venmo), you may receive a paper check or be offered another payment option.
Settlement Fund Allocation
The $1.9 million settlement fund will be divided as follows:
- Settlement administration costs: To be determined
- Attorneys’ fees: Up to $633,270
- Attorneys’ expenses: To be determined
- Service award to the class representative: Up to $10,000
- Remaining funds: Distributed to eligible claimants
