Sierra-at-Tahoe, LLC has agreed to a class action settlement offering cash refunds or ski lift ticket vouchers (valued between $83 and $140) to eligible customers who purchased single-day lift tickets online between December 2020 and February 2021 but couldn’t use them because the resort’s parking lots were full.
The lawsuit claimed Sierra-at-Tahoe failed to disclose parking limitations when selling date-specific tickets online, leaving customers unable to access the resort on certain days.

Why Was There a Lawsuit?
The lawsuit accused Sierra-at-Tahoe of failing to warn customers about the risk of not being able to use date-specific tickets due to parking capacity restrictions, resulting in financial loss for those turned away. While the company denies any wrongdoing, it agreed to settle to avoid the cost and uncertainty of litigation.
