A class action settlement has been reached with Sugarmill Distilling, a manufacturer of liquors and hand sanitizer. The lawsuit claims that Sugarmill misled consumers by labeling its HEX hand sanitizer as 99% effective against all germs, when it was not, thus violating consumer protection laws.
You qualify as a class member if you purchased Sugarmill’s HEX hand sanitizer (not for resale) in Illinois or Missouri between May 15, 2017, and April 1, 2022. Any size purchase, whether ounces or gallons, is eligible.
