Venture Logistics has agreed to pay $932,800 to resolve the lawsuit, which alleged the company failed to properly protect sensitive personal data.
Who Is Eligible?
You may be eligible if:
- You received written notification from Venture Logistics stating your information may have been compromised in the May 2023 data breach
- You are among approximately 9,328 individuals whose data was exposed during the incident
What Compensation Is Available?
Class members may receive one or more of the following benefits:
- Credit Monitoring: Three years of credit monitoring and identity protection services, including up to $1,000,000 in identity theft insurance coverage
- Ordinary Out-of-Pocket Losses: Up to $500 for documented expenses related to the breach (e.g., credit freeze fees, credit repair services, CPA or legal costs) incurred between May 13, 2023, and July 10, 2025
- Extraordinary Out-of-Pocket Losses: Up to $5,000 for unreimbursed financial losses linked directly to identity theft or misuse of your personal data
- Lost Time: Up to $125 for time spent dealing with the data breach (maximum 5 hours at $25/hour)
- Pro Rata Cash Payment: All class members will automatically receive a portion of the remaining funds after legal and administrative costs, regardless of whether they submit a claim

- No claim form is required to receive a pro rata cash payment
- To receive credit monitoring or reimbursement for losses or lost time, you must file a claim by October 1, 2025
